What does IBC mean to you?

IBC is real-world preparation for your career with a focus on the betterment of ourselves and our peers. IBC means learning valuable project management and soft skills through experience with clients.

What is the most valuable lesson learned from IBC?

IBC demonstrated to me the value of finding strong advocates and mentors in my career. Through IBC, I met peers who shared their insights and challenged me to expand my perspective.

What is most memorable about your time in the organization?

My biggest takeaways from IBC are the moments after we faced a challenging situation. My peers always took the time to reflect on the challenge, what they learned from the experience, and talk openly about what they would’ve done differently. Everyone made difficult situations into learning moments for their teams to better prepare everyone for the next time they faced a similar challenge.

What advice do you have for current members?

Your IBC network is huge and filled with people who want to keep the spirit of learning alive. Make sure you leverage that network while in school and when you start your career.
